Finally after a long time we could go on a travel through Ireland again. We started on Sunday morning in Galway where the weather was cloudy and we went to the south. Our first stop should be Cork. When we arrived there there was no cloudy weather and it was warm! It was warmer than in the car. After a little lunch we went off to walk through Cork and did a little shopping.
During our walk there was a little rain so we had to go shopping and have a little coffebreak.
And than the sun came out again. It was so wounderful!
Cork looks so much different than Galway.
After the break we went off to Cobh (say Couv). Last year in school they read about the Titanic and so our son loved to see the last harbor. Also the grandparents should arrive on the next day on the MS Amadea.
The night we spend in a littel hotel at the sea and this little ship hold me from sleeping with its illumination at three in the moring. But the sunrise war breathtaking.
And than the MS Amadea arrived.
At eight the ship stopped next to the hotel and after a short check at the security we were allowed to go on board. For the first time we went on a ship that size and after we were showen all the important decks we had a little breakfast.
Afertwards we went on a little walk through Cobh, the grandparents got a Guinness and than it was time again to say bye. The grandparents started their travel over the atlantic and we started our way back to the north.
On the way we stopped at Blarney Castle and yes: I kissed the stone ^^
