This is the second time I am taking part in the give away and even if I got a reminder some days ago I am not totally ready. No worries, this little give away will be finished before it goes on the way to a lucky winner. When I saw the QAL at Oh, Frannson I first wanted to make them for a friend but was not so sure about it (I might make an other one for you after Christmas?!?). So I made the first five cats and out came a little table runner for the SMS give away. As it is not totally finished now I only can show you a picture of the progress.
Be sure I can contact you or if not sure leave your email in the comment that I can do so. The give away will close Friday night Irish Time and I will ask Mr Random on Saturday, 14/12/2013. If you receive an email that you are the lucky winner respond otherwise I will ask Mr Random again on Monday.
I will sent worldwide. Have fun hopping around at Sew Mama Sew and leaving lots of comments. Good luck!
One day I hope to celebrate ringing in the New Year in Jerusalem!

ReplyDeletebeth(dot)sebastian(at)gmail(dot)com
I am following that sew along too. I like spending New Years wherever I am. I like to be with my husband.
ReplyDeleteAt home, playing games with friends, in front of the fire.
ReplyDeleteThis year my husband wants to go to the mountains and celebrate quietly. I thought it was a great idea!
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is I lived in New York City for 6 years but never once went to Times Square for new year's because you have to spend HOURS in the freezing weather to get a good spot. Yes, I'm boring :) I like tp spend New year's having a nice little dinner party with close friends.
ReplyDeleteOh, please, please, please? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNYC for new years is cold ~ and windy... and if you don't get there hours in advance you are not going to be anywhere near the live concert so it is a little lame. I went with a group of international friends a few years ago and while it was fun to hang out with them, I def. would not go again.
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing a Racletteabend with friends this year ~ looking forward to it! Glad they sell it on Amazon in the USA :)
Thanks for the chance to win... what you've shown so far looks lovely!
Hello! Wow, a kitty tablerunner, that sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am celebrating new year in Florence, Italy, just like last year. So that is my favorite place at the moment.

I lived in NY for 10 years and did not go down to Times Square on New Year's Eve--The crowds are too much for me. We usually go to a concert on New Year's Eve.
ReplyDeletemy favourite place is the hill behind the house ... or with my sisters (which is not really a place) ...
ReplyDeletei love to celebrate new years eve in my cozy house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to celebrate the new year is at home on my couch! No joke :)
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet Kitties! Merry Christmas

ReplyDeleteI like to celebrate the New Year with family at home by the fire, playing board games and munching on snacks!
ReplyDeleteNYC is fun at New Years - and a bit crazy! My brother lives there and we have been once. I would like to spend a New Year somewhere tropical like San Juan would be fun! I love the Cat runner! I wanted to sew along w/ Oh Frannson on this one but did not have the time! Love your blog and thank you for a super giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the cat pattern! Going to NYC for NYE would absolutely terrify me, so I'm going to say Australia, so I could be one of the first to ring in the new year. :)
ReplyDeleteI love celebrating the New Year in Tahoe, usually because it is close to family and allows my husband and I to sneak out for the night ;) One year I'd really like to go to San Francisco, though - it think that'd be a lot of fun! Thanks so much for the chance at your giveaway! I was contemplating doing Oh Fransson's Cat QAL, too, and I love the little cats that you've come up with so far - adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to spend New Years is my very own home, in front of the fireplace, with some good wine, music and my family. We're not much on big crowds so a quiet evening is great! Many thanks!
ReplyDeleteemyerly(at)wideopenwest(dot)com
WHAT AN AWESOME GIVEAWAY!!!! You're going to have one happy winner. I'm going to sound like an old lady, but nothing makes me happier than celebrating the new year in our home with the fire roaring and a glass of white wine. Happiness.
ReplyDeleteOh! It is adorable! My friend who has been so lovely in taking in my daughters and I during my separation / divorce had to get rid of her kitties on our behalf, bc of my daughter's allergy. I'd love to give her this as a gift!
ReplyDeleteI always thought it'd be neat to go to NY also, but then I look at the crowds on the newscast and think, 'But what if I had to go to the bathroom?' No kidding - what do those people DO?
So I guess my favorite place to be is with loved ones and family!
Thank you. I'm sorry my German is so bad that I can't attempt it this time. :-)
I like celebrating at home (Atlanta) with my husband.
ReplyDeleteI live in Germany and we do lots of fireworks on New Years. I'm fortunate to live on a hill that overlooks the town, so I stay home with friends and family and we party all night until the fireworks start and the church bells ring!
ReplyDeleteI would love to experience Rhythm and Vines (a huge New Years Eve music festival) here in Gisborne, New Zealand. Live only minutes away from it but still not gone after all these years
ReplyDeleteI think I'd like to go to Sydney Australia for the New Year. It always looks so pretty with the fireworks going off on the harbor.
ReplyDeleteI'm a homebody. I'm happiest just staying home with a good book or movie or sewing project.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I have never really went out to celebrate new years. I think a rustic laid back party with wine and champaign would be perfect.

ReplyDeleteat home with our 3 babies!
ReplyDeleteI like to spend New Year's Eve at home. New Year's Day is usually spend celebrating my niece's birthday. Twelve years ago I spent the new year in Galway. I was so tired that I went to bed early and only briefly woke up when everyone was counting down. The next morning I woke up early and walked through the very empty streets alone, and it was glorious! I think it was the only time on that trip I was alone, and I had seven companions, which was a bit overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be in New Zealand too, to see it first.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place is in my livingroom, in front of the fire with my husband, children and grandchildren. By the way, New York is amazing
ReplyDeleteI am always happy to celebrate at home nowadays! Always warm, safe, and with the most important people there :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a fuddy-duddy. I like to spend New Years at home, likely in bed by 11pm. My kids don't seem to care that mommy stayed up late the night before, so it's not worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!
We celebrate with friends on our block
ReplyDeleteI would love to spend the New Year curled up by a fire, with my hubby and some hot chocolate. Thanks for participating. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes the small towns have a "First Night" celebration, no alcohol, with games for kids and live music. Cobourg, Ontario (which is the next town over) used to have one, with fireworks at 10 pm -- it was awesome and I would love to do something similar again.
ReplyDeleteI love spending New Year's in Hawaii. The food, fireworks, and spending time with all my family makes it great end & start to the year.
ReplyDeleteI live in Sydney, Australia & it is wonderful to watch the fireworks on the harbour. I have a friend who has an apartment with a fantastic view & it's such a great way to bring in the New Year. Thanks for the chance to win the cat table runner.

ReplyDeleteI'm rather boring as I think the perfect place to celebrate is at home.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to go to Trafalgar Square in London one year, but you know what, celebrating with friends and families at someone's home is much more fun. So that is what I'll be doing this year - can't wait. :-D
ReplyDeleteActually, we like to spend the evening in our own home. Sometimes we have friends over and play games.
ReplyDeleteI miss Dublin because I loved hearing all the ships in the harbor honk as they rang in New Year's Eve. Since I am land-locked here in Wisconsin, we don't have any ships to listen to. It was an exciting sound.
ReplyDeleteI like to spend New Year's with friends and family at someone's house playing games and eating yummy food.

We go to a friends' house every year. The kids binge on movies and the adults laugh way too much! Although, I'd love to try a year doing it at my inlaw's house in the Cayman Islands!
ReplyDeleteI agree New York City would be an amazing place to celebrate the new year. This year I'll be home with family when the ball drops. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place is at home with family, watching the ball/apple/etc drop on TV. Come to think of it...with family members getting older, quite a few of them are asleep by midnight! :-) I am, btw, from NYC, but I've never been in Times Square to see the ball drop.
