Birthdays

Eigentlich wollte ich den Tag in aller Ruhe am Strand verbringen, aber nachdem die Stadt ausgerechnet an meinem Geburtstag beschlossen hat, in tiefhaengendem Nebel zu verschwinden, freute ich mich umso mehr ueber die nette Ueberraschung von ganz lieben Menschen. Ganz liebe Maedels haben mich mit Kaffe, Kuchen und Blumen ueberrascht. Danke! Schoen wars :)
Originally I wanted to celebrate my birthday on the beach, sitting in the sun (as the weather forecast predicted), drinking coffe and reading a good book but the city decided to submerce in thick fog. Therefore I was really happy when I got the call to go to a surprising coffe morning. They had prepared coffe, a loveley cake and bought wounderful flowers. Thanks girls, it was a gorgeous morning :)

Und weil noch zwei ganz liebe Freundinnen Geburstag haben, gibt es gleich noch ein kleines Geschenk fuer die beiden. Ich hoffe, sie freuen sich! Ich fand die beiden Stickmuster so schoen und ich hoffe, der Rest ist auch gelungen.
But it was not only my birthday we had to celebrate and so I made two bookcovers for two other girls. I hope they like it. I loved the stiching. It was something new to try :)
