Cliffs of Mohern II

Unser Touristenprogramm erstreckt sich bei gutem Wetter noch in den Sueden und so musste unser Gast dann auch noch zu den Cliffs of Mohern fahren. Dieses Mal war die Anreise genauso abenteuerlich wie das letzte Mal. Eine Sache, die die Iren zwar sehr gern im Baustellenbereich machen - Schilder aufstellen - fehlt leider meist zur Gaenze, wenn man an einen bestimmten Ort fahren moechte. So sind die Cliffs auf dem ganzen Weg nur ein Mal angeschrieben und kein Wunder, dass wir die Abzweigung natuerlich verpasst haben. Allerdings war die Kuestenstrasse traumhaft schoen!
If the weather is nice we drive our guests also to the south and so we went off to the Cliffs of Mohern. This time the travel was as exciting as the last time. One thing the Irish are very good at is positioning a lot of signs along the road if there is a road work in progress but if you want to be guided to a special place you wound find any signs. So it was no wonder that we took the wrong way again but the coast road was fantastic!

(man achte bitte auf die Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen - look at the signs)

Weil das Wetter doch gar so schoen war, sind wir noch weiter in den Sueden nach Doolin an den Strand gefahren. Was gibt es schoeners, als Sonne, Strand und Meer. Stiefel aus und reingewandert. Herrlich :)

Because of the weather was so nice we decided to go to Doolin to the beach. What is more beautiful than sun, beach and the sea! Wonderful!

Anschliessend ging es nochmal eine Runde shoppen (Whiskey musste noch in den Koffer) und montag sehr frueh morgens gind es wieder zum Flughafen und unser Gast trat die Heimreise an. Ich hoffe, er kommt irgendwann wieder, denn so mancher Berg will noch erklettert werden und so mancher Shop ist noch nicht leer gekauft ^^

After we went shopping again (Whiskey has to be bought in Ireland) and on Monday very early in the morning we went to the airport and our guest went home. I hope he will come again one day. There are much more mountains to climb on and much more shops for shopping.
