Ein kleines Dankeschoen/ A little thank you ...

A couple of weeks ago a friend from Graz sent us a cake for the international day in school for my kids. I thought about what would be a nice thank you gift. When I saw the birdie quilt at Cindy I thought that a tablerunner with the blocks could be nice. So I cut fabrics from my stash and of course bought some new ones, sew them together and made a stitching on one block. Today the top is finished. Just in time because in one week we are off to Austria :)

It was not easy to make a picture because my girls put all the drawings from Playschool on the walls in the living romm. I hope you can see the lovely fabrics. I love them!

I thought the birdie with the rainbow fits best to Ireland. I am sorry that the colours are not really good but exactly that moment I wanted to go out and make the foto it started to rain. I hope I can make a better picture later.

  1. You're so right - the fabrics are spctacular and really make this bright and cheery! Wise chose with the rainbow - we nearly see them too often :)
