Christmaspresents ...

In diesem Jahr hab ich schon recht frueh angefangen an den Geschenken zu arbeiten. Ich freu mich, dass Freunde Wuensche geaeussert haben und nach anfaenglichen Schwierigkeiten - es ist nicht einfach hier Wolle zu kaufen die meinen Anspruechen stand haelt - hab ich nun glaub (fast) alle Zutaten gefunden und bin schon fleissig am werkeln. Ein paar previews kann ich euch zeigen ...
This year I started really early preparing the Christmas presents. I am glad that I can full fill some wishes. At the beginning I had some troubles finding the wool I like but at least I found some that matches my high specifications. I think now I got all I need and I started my Christmas projects. Dann wurde tuerkis gewuenscht! Um genau zu sein tuerkise Stulpen, denn die passen perfekt zum neuen Mantel. Hmm, ich tueftle noch immer am Strickmuster. Leider hat der erste Versuch nicht ganz so toll geklappt und so befinde ich mich in der "neu-zeichnen-naechster-versuch"-Phase. Klingt spannend - ist es auch ;)
One wish to be full filled was turquoise cuffs. They would match perfect the new coat. Hmmm, I am still drawing a pattern. The first try did not work out so now I am at the "re-drawing-next-try"-stage. Sounds exciting - and it is exciting! I never did this before ...   

In der Zwischenzeit ist ein Paar Stulpen schon mal fertig geworden. Wer die bekommt, weiss ich noch nicht, aber das Muster hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich es unbedingt ausprobieren musste. In den naechsten Tagen wird noch eine passende Muetze dazu folgen.
In between I made some cuffs . I found the pattern and I loved it so much that I had to make them. I don't really know now who will get them but the next days a had will join them too.

Und weil ich sonst immer leer ausgehe, hab ich mir die mal selbst gemacht. Wenn ich mal kurz nicht aufpasse, sind sie allerdings an den Haenden meiner Tochter zu finden *gg*
Zum Glueck ist noch einige Zeit hin bis Weihnachten und so wird jeden Abend fleissigst gestrickt oder gestickt. Die Naehmaschine bleibt noch ruhig, aber bald muss auch die wieder rattern.
Now this one are mine! Actually they are just mine if I am fast enough otherwise I will find them on my daughters hands. *gg*
I am lucky that there is still lots of time till Christmas but I try not to be to lacy and work almost every night to get finished. The sewing machine is still on "vacation" but it will soon be needed for some presents...
