Time to Craft ...

Ich bin grad so stolz auf mein "kleines" Maedchen. Bisher hat sie mir immer zugesehen wenn ich gestrickt oder genaeht habe. Manchmal hat sie sich Stoffe ausgesucht oder Kombinationen fuer ihre Wuensche erstellt. Am Wochenende konnten wir eine dieser suessen kleinen (Schmuck-)Kisten ergattern und darin befanden sich Garn und Nadeln. Vollauf begeistern hat sie sich dann gestern ans Wekr  gemacht: Muster aufgezeichnet, Garn in die Nadel gefaedelt und schon ging es los ...
I am so proud of my little girl! Till yesterday she just watched me knitting or sewing. Sometimes she chose the fabrics or told me what we will make out of them. On the weekend we found a little box in town with stitching yarn and needles inside. Enthusiastic she started yesterday and drew a picture on a piece of fabric and started to stitch ..

... und gleich nach der Schule hat sie sich nun wieder an die Arbeit gemacht und sitzt nun wieder ueber ihrem Stickrahmen. Ich bin gespannt, was sie dann weiter daraus machen will, aber bis dahin haben wir noch ein wenig Zeit ...
... and today straight after school and a little lunch she went back to stitching. I am excited what she will make of it when the stitching is done ... maybe a mug rug?

Sohnemann wollte natuerlich auch gleich mal einen Versuch starten, so hab ich mich heute nochmal in die Stadt begeben und einen neunen Stickrahmen gekauft. Allerdings hab ich vergessen, dass heute die Buecherei in der Schule nach der langen Pause wegen der Umbauarbeiten wieder geoeffnet ist ...
Also my boy wanted to have a try yesterday but his little sister did not give him a go. So I went to town today and bought an other frame. Certainly I forgot that after a long time of reconstruction of the school building the library opened for the third class today again ...

 
... das Buch ist schon seit langem bestellt, aber die Post mobbt uns wohl. Auf jeden Fall ist er nun happy und fuer die naechsten Tage nicht mehr ansprechbar. Ich hoffe nur, der naechste Teil laesst nun nicht so lange auf sich warten, denn auch der ist eigentlich schon seit Wochen bestellt .. hoffe ich!
... and he got the book we already ordered a long time ago but the post did not deliver till now. Anyway he is now happy reading and not approachable for the next days. I just hope the next part is faster delivered than he is finished with this book!
