Die Wartezeit ist vorbei/Waitingtime is over

Manchmal muss man einfach nur Geduld haben und die Dinge erledigen sich von selbst. Die Kinder haben die letzten Wochen Sehnsuechtig auf das letzte Weihnachtsgeschenk aus Oesterreich gewartet, aber irgenwie wollte es nicht bei uns ankommen. Irgendwann gaben wir die Hoffnung auf, dass es jemals seinen Bestimmungsort finden wuerde. Die grosse Frage "was passiert mit Packeten/Briefen die nie ankommen" schwirrte seither in unseren Koepfen herum. Doch manchmal, wenn man es gar nicht mehr erwartet, liegt es einfach vor der Tuer und wartet nur noch darauf, geoeffnet zu werden :)
Sometimes the only thing you can do is wait and be patient and things solve themselves. The kids have been waiting for weeks that the last Christmas present from Austria arrives but it never found the way to our house. One day we capitulated and started thinking about "What happens to all the letters/parcels which never arrives?" But sometimes the only thing you have to do is wait and when you don't expect it, the present is waiting for you in front of the house.

Auch der Quilt nimmt langsam Form an. Nachdem mich ein riesiger Rechenfehler zum Neuueberdenken gezwungen hat und das komplette Design neu gemacht werden musste, kann ich nun endlich wirklich nur noch naehen. Ich bin schon gespannt wie er fertig aussieht, aber heute war so wunderbares Wetter, dass seit langem wieder ein langer Spazierganzg an der Promenade faellig war ...
Also the quilt is slowly getting to look like a quilt. After I made a horrible mistake and miscalculated so badly that I had to redesign and recalculate all over again. I am excited how it will look but today the weather was so beautiful I had to take a long walk at the prom. 

Trotz dem wunderbaren Sonnenschein war es eisig kalt. Leider sind die Stulpen noch nicht fertig und so mussten die Haende in der Jackentasche warm gehalten werden. Am Wochenende soll es noch kaelter werden...
But it was awfully cold even if the sun was shining. Unfortunately my mitts are not finished yet so I had to put my hands in the pocket. On the weekend it should be getting more cold ... 

Immer wieder durfte ich beim Pouch Swap in der Flickr Gruppe lesen, dass die Tasche zu blau ist. Ich war auch ein wenig gemein, und habe die Innenseite nicht gezeigt. Also falls meine Partnerin nosy ist und ab und zu auf meinem Blog nachsieht, so wuerde dein Taeschen komplett aussehen ;) You like it?
A lot of the ladies at the pouch swap group thought the pouch is a little to blue. Ok, it was not nice from me that I did not show the inside but that is bright yellow with a little pocket. So my lovely partner if you are nosy enough and stalk a littele on my blog than you know now that there is a little more color than just blue. You like it?

Heute ist auch der erste Tag von meinem Stash Bee und ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt und warte auf den ersten Block. Auch bin ich dauernd auf der Suche nach einem Muster fuer meinen Quilt, aber bis dahin ist noch viel Zeit ...
