Happy New Year 2012 ...

Nach einer aufregenden Fahrt Richtung Dublin - Stop in der Werkstatt in Athlone wegen kaputter Zuendkerze - haben wir gestern das letzte Weihnachtsgeschenk eingeloest: ein Tag in Dublin bei Disney on Ice! Begleitet von Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy und Donald wurde die Geschichte von Ariell, Tinkerbell ...

redeem the last Christmas present: a day at Disney on Ice! Accompanied by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald we saw the stories of Ariell, Tinkerbell ...

Der letzte Tag im Jahr neigt sich nun langsam dem Ende zu und bald wird ein neues Jahr beginnen. Obwohl hier in Irland nicht wirklich laut gefeiert wird - oder ich hab die Party einfach noch nicht gefunden - haengen wir an unseren alten Traditionen. Gemuetlich mit Filmen, "Dinner for One" kurz vor Mitternacht, Feuerwerk live aus London und anschliessend suendiges Schokofondue mit Erdbeeren, Trauben, Melone und Bananen.
The last day of the year is drawing to end end and the new year 2012 can start. Even if in Ireland there is no big party - or I just did not find it till now - we celebrate our old traditions: Watching movies, watching "Dinner for One" short before midnight, firework live from London and after a chocolate fondue with strawberries, grapes, melon and bananas ..
